Starting with the gentlemen who comes to the car and retrieve my keys, Yvonne who is the friendly concierge, walks up to you in the waiting area and pleasantly introduce herself, which I find refreshing 😉 Bradley is my service repair advisor and I couldn't ask a better person. He knows me by name and for me...this is very important. Bradley makes recommendations and let's me know if the repair needs immediate attention, or if I have time before repair is needed (as I like to budget) which I appreciate! I had my car in for a oil change and the car was driven home that evening in Vero Beach. I had a meeting in Miami the following day and was on my way down I-95 and smoke started to come out the exhaust. I pulled off the next exit and checked the oil stick and it appeared the oil was double filled. I called Dyer advised them of the situation who advised to have the car towed to the dealership and gave me a number to contact for the tow. When I called the tow company they advised I needed to pay the tow bill. I hired my own company and brought the surburban back to the dealership. The tow truck driver checked the oil as well and advised it was doubled filled as it was half way up the stick over the normal line. When at the dealership they requested the car be sent to the back lot. I advised I wanted the car inspected right infront and requested the manager be present. My advised asked if I allowed the oil to settle in the car before checking the level. The General Manger came out and the adviser and oil team and confirmed a double fill of the oil. The manager advised they would refill and clean the exhaust and i waited for completion. When done the manager advised of the double fill and car was ready. I asked for a receipt to document the service but none was completed. Manager advised he would mail me a copy. I have never received and at this time am requesting I be contacted by Dyer Service and provided a receipt for the service which I usually receive and is customary on my visits. I am also requesting Dyer cover any repairs caused by this oversite. As you know this issue can cause multiple issues in the future. I request a call back from Dyer to inform me when I can pick up the invoice for the repair of my car due to the double fill of oil.

The guys who pull the cars up and greet the customers at the service department were very customer oriented. The staff inside at the service desk could do a better job of handling customers. There were 5 service guys and one customer was being waited on. After a few minutes of standing there one of the guys said someone will be with you in a minute. When the guy who was waiting on the one customer finished. He looked at me and then he looked around at the other members of the service (he looked frustrated) and said how can I help you. This is not good. I will say Bradley my service person was not in the service department at the time I came in. He did a fine job handling my service.

Surprise service visit after I was surprised by the check engine light. Luckily I made it home. like any non trusting truck owner would do you turn it off and back on tree if it would come on again. It did not and wouldn’t start. I let it sit over night and luckily it did start for me engine was on so it wasn’t a fluke. Dropped at the garage door of the dealership service garage. Put my fob and filled out the info on the envelope. Got a call from the service tech Laura I think was her name, explained my issue. 2 hours later I got another call from her saying my truck was ready . That’s what I call service. 👍

Bradley Hatfield did an excellent job, as always, as my contact. The only issue I had was not with him , it dealt with the tech who changed my oil. He forgot to update the sticker on my windshield and did not reset the oil life indicator. I had to call Bradley to verify that the tech did indeed change my oil.

First advisor I was working with was transitioning to a different career. Even though he seemed to try and help he had to leave things unfinished. Lance stepped up as my new advisor and was able to get the problems resolved for the most part. They were unable to duplicate the AC issue and it has happened twice since receiving the truck back but by the time I can get it there it starts working properly. Even though some problems still exist I can understand the diagnosis dilemma and I am satisfied with the services that Lance and the techs provided. I will continue to try to catch the other issues and have them resolved as well.

I went to my oil change and maintenance appointment. The oil filter was at 50% and the diesel filter at 9%. I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. When I left, I checked that the filter settings hadn't been reset and the diesel filter hadn't been changed. I returned for another 45 minutes. The truck's cab smelled of diesel. Nothing, almost 4 hours for an oil change. Terrible.

I was upset with the email the Dealer sent mw about the charges for using a credit card. When the work was finished I was told there would be no charge for using a credit card. Which is it? I paid with the personal check, and put the credit card in a drawer of my desk. I called Barkley and I complained about the notice. They weren't too clear.

I walk into this dealership at 6:55 and they closed. I was looking at a New Corvette Z06 in the shower room. I told the staff I could come by tomorrow but they both said take your time. After looking at it a couple minutes my sales guy Jhon ask if I wanted to go for a test drive of course I said. After driving this i know I had to have so this guys got the deal done and I drove away with my new Z06 in less than 2 hrs total. Keep in mind all 3 of the guys stayed 2 hrs late on a Friday for me. I brought my truck in for 3 reasons, an oil leak, a strange noise from my transmission and a shimmy when i brake. They blamed my oil leak and my transmission noise on a tube on the intake side of my turbo that had a small hole in it. I told the service advisor that this would not stop the transmission noise as it started the moment the transmission was replaced at a GMC dealer just under 2 years ago. He assured me it would fix the oil leak and the noise for the low price of $1200 and change. So, i let them replace the part knowing it would not solve the transmission noise but hopeful it would stop the oil leak. They completely forgot to even check the shimmy issue while braking as the advisor didn't want to set up my current truck in the system while i was making the appointment and instead put all of the notes on a vehicle i don't own anymore. I explained to him that wanted confirmation of the shimmy that it wasn't related to any steering components. I explained a situation i had about 18 months ago driving through Tennessee pulling my RV on I-24 that as i reached the top of the mountain the transmission shifted funny and locked my vehicle into limp mode and the transmission into 5th gear, i did not know that this would prevent me from manually downshifting the transmission or using the exhaust brake, i started down the mountain and as luck would have it the trailer brakes failed on my camper as i was coming down the mountain. now i had no trailer brakes and no engine brake or ability to downshift. It was all i could do to avoid having to use a runaway truck ramp. suffice it to say by the time i got down the mountain my truck's brakes were VERY hot. this apparently caused cracking in the rotors and they said this is the reason for the shimmy and they should be replaced. I have a set of new rotors and told them i'll do that myself. Lets return to the first 2 issues. they replaced the component and wow, go figure the transmission is still making the exact same sound. the transmission only makes the sound when decelerating, without a load at speeds under 40mph with a load using the exhaust brake and/or downshifting it starts sooner. This noise is due to "something" not done right in the rebuilt transmission. The dealership tried to tell me yeah we hear the noise but maybe its just normal for this transmission... I'm sorry but thats not an acceptable answer. especially when on long drives the transmission starts running hotter than it should and downshifting funny. The service manager then asked me well how much experience do you have with these 10 speed allison transmissions they are a bit of a different animal... i looked at him and said dude, i own 2 trucks with this transmission, my brother has one, my dad has one and i have several friends that have them so don't try to tell me i don't know this system and i'm hearing something thats normal. I then challenged him to drive any other new vehicle on the lot that had a 6.6L Duramax with the 10 speed Allison transmission and see if they make the same sound. they declined. I asked the service manager if he got his vehicle back from service and his transmission was making a sound it had never made before (especially owning the vehicle from new) if he would accept that as proper... he said "well, no" and I said "well then why should I" he had no answer for that. To add insult to injury the dealership's response to GM Corporate completely throws me under the bus and they lied about loads i'm hauling with this vehicle claiming i've towed 35,000 lbs with this truck which i never have. there is a reason i have 2 other trucks that i use for hauling equipment. this truck is used for moving my RV and other lighter towing. adn they are now trying to blame the brake and rotor issue on this lie as well as issues i'm experiencing with my transmission. They state they had 2 techs look at my issue and both 'found no problems'. no, there isn't a code being generated by the computer. under drive temperatures and pressures may seem normal. this does not change the fact that the transmission is making an abnormal sound after i paid for it to be replaced. An abnormal sound coming from a mechanical device is by definition an issue and not operating normally. I am not accepting of being told there is no issue when the deceleration whine from the transmission is loud enough that people look at the truck when i'm slowing down at intersections in the city. Ok, so now lets revisit the oil leak that the turbo component... a week now after service has been completed my truck is still leaking oil. drips apparent after just a few minutes of being parked somewhere so obviously this component did NOT resolve the oil issue either. so what the heck did i just pay $1200 for? When I challenged the service advisor about the transmission sound not being resolved by the turbo component replaced in front of the service manager he said "well the part needed to be replaced anyway" I looked him in the eye and said it didn't need to be replaced right now. it was causing no drivability issue or other problem, i let you replace it because you assured me it would solve my problems. *crickets* Initially i really had no issue with Dyer and their service department until i got this response from GM corporate where they completely threw me under the bus and tried to make me sound like an idiot. After hearing back from them, they informed me that they had two technicians investigate the issue thoroughly. Unfortunately, neither technician was able to find any problems with the vehicle, and both concluded that it is operating normally. They performed checks on fluid samples, fluid levels, and live data, but were unable to duplicate the issue you’ve reported. They also compared your truck with a similar model to ensure the noise you’re hearing is within the expected range. Additionally, the dealership did mention that the truck has towed up to 35,000 lbs., which is significantly above the recommended towing capacity for this vehicle. The truck also came in with brakes and rotors that were heat-soaked and warped, which can be signs of overloading the truck. This could be contributing to some of the issues you’re experiencing. I understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but I wanted to share all of the information from the dealership’s inspection. I purchased this CPO vehicle from Dyer Chevy in Lake Wales with roughly 3000 miles on it. At time of purchase it was in the service center for a previously noted issue with charging ports in the dash. I suggested that the dealership finish the repair before I took possession of the vehicle but they stated that the parts were on back order and that the repairs could be make in Vero when parts came in since that is where I live. A month or so went by and the vehicle was coming due for its first oil change so I made an appointment for service. I dropped the vehicle off at the appointment time and was told there was no record of my making an appointment but that they would take the vehicle anyway. I made 4 requests at the time of service: oil change, additional key for the vehicle which had been agreed upon as terms of the sale, charging ports in the dash which had been identified by the Lake Wales dealership and to check the wheel alignment because the vehicle appeared to wander a bit on the highway. I advised the service writer that the dash issue had already been diagnosed by the other dealership and was told that parts were not yet available so if they had to order them I would bring the vehicle back another time for that particular repair. I was left with the idea that the vehicle would be ready later that day since I dropped it off early that morning. Having received no calls by later afternoon I called the dealership and was told that the vehicle was not ready but it would be available next day. No communication received during the following day so I once again called for an update and was told that the dash was torn apart and that the parts would not be available until sometime the following week but they would provide me a rental. I asked if the other work had been done and was told that the oil change and key were done but that the technician had driven the vehicle and did not notice an alignment issue. I stated that was not satisfactory and that I wanted the alignment done and was VERY specific about that. This was on Friday. No communication again until Tuesday when the service writer called and said that the vehicle was ready and they would like to get me out of the rental that day. I asked a third time of the alignment was competed and the service writer said he would talk to the technician and that I should return the rental that afternoon. I went by the dealership in late morning to ensure the vehicle was ready and in talking with the same service writer I had been dealing with from the beginning I asked for the fourth time if the alignment had been done and he stated that it had not been done and would not be covered under warranty if no problems were found. I asked the service writer why he chose to inform me of that after having the vehicle for 5 days and multiple requests to have the alignment checked and this individual started an argument basically saying do I want the alignment done or do I want to complain about it. I asked to speak with the service manager at that point and expressed my issue with him. He could not give any reason why the wheel alignment request had not been honored and then told me that the only way alignment could be checked was to put the vehicle on the rack. He further stated that if the vehicle was not out of alignment there would be a charge for checking it even though the vehicle had 5000 miles on it and had just been purchased from a Dyer dealership. I told him to check the alignment either way since I felt there was an issue with it. That took another day to accomplish. I picked up the vehicle on Wednesday and there was no charge for the alignment. No explanation was given and I did not receive the printout that I requested showing the alignment specs but I was not charged for the service so I presumed it was out of alignment to some degree. So my issues are: Why was the dash torn apart to verify a problem already identified by your other dealership and explained to the service writer when you did not have the parts available? Why was I not contacted about the work being done and the estimated time to complete it? Why did I have to tell the service writer four times to check my alignment? And why did said service writer fail to mention anything about charges relating to the alignment until I showed up in person to pick up my vehicle? Lastly, I really do not appreciate the same individual taking an attitude with me when I questioned him about the alignment which necessitated involving the service manager. So that was my first experience at Dyer and to say it was woefully unimpressive would be an understatement.

The service provided was good however I brought the truck in under a warranty claim at 8:30 Saturday morning and didn't get it back until mid day on Wednesday. It only needed left front caliper and brake pads. I scheduled it in in advance but the service manager said they had many jobs ahead of mine. Warranty should be a priority if you want to keep your customers satisfied. if they could not find the time for my warranty work they should not have scheduled it when they did. Also, when I bought the truck they told me they provided loaners when needed however I have had 2 warranty claims done and could never get a loaner.

Very disappointed on the made appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation at Dyer Chevy. The appointment took 2 1/2 hours. 60-90 minutes could be acceptable, but very few customers were in the service department upon 11AM arrival and during appointment. SECOND, an oil change and tire rotation is all I wanted, but for my Silverado, they included a BG 44k fuel treatment as a part of a Gold package for $40 that I really didn’t want, thus driving the total cost to $160. While the fuel treatment might be a good thing for my engine, the customer should have option for oil change without the additional expensive treatment. The service agent did the best he could with a small discount and an extra car wash coupon, but the service manager is responsible for making sure manpower and scheduled appointments are committed in a timely fashion. I typically always service my Silverado at a GM dealership, BUT, I won’t be back to this local Vero Beach dealership for service any time soon. In addition, the online reviews have similar very negative comments, so I’m not alone.

new 2025 equinox with 6000 miles the driver side head lights are filled with moisture they say it can be months before they can get the parts my opinion, go to another dealer to buy and service I will give them 2 weeks before I make a complaint to the state they pulled other things on me that were underhanded

Bring truck in for a transmission issue and a misfire. They said they change the torque converter but I’m having the same issue. When I got my truck back there was a trailer hitch receiver on it that did not belong to me. They was a tool and a screw in the bed of the truck. Jonathan, my sales rep, was great. He is very easy to work with and made most of the experience work well. When one of the managers came into the room, I felt uneasy....rightly so.....he tried to slip me a demo car with 3600 miles on it. I did not catch that until I was in the closer's office, at which time I got up to leave. Jonathan, not wanting to lose the sale, was able to find me the same car with 47 miles on it, which I purchased and love.
